The Kazakh National Agrarian Research University hosted an Open Day for students of Mangystau Tourism College in Aktau, Mangystau Region. The event was organized within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between the two educational institutions and aimed to introduce the students to KazNARU’s educational, research, and professional training opportunities.
The college delegation was led by vocational training instructor Mereke Sarsenova. The visit primarily focused on food production and processing technologies, as well as issues related to quality control and food safety.
During the Open Day, the students received information about KazNARU’s educational programs and visited the Plant Biotechnology Center, the Food Technology and Quality Center, the Kazakhstan-Japan Innovation Center, the International Vaccinology Center, the Water Hub, the Reference Center for Safety and Quality of Agricultural Products, and the University Museum.
During the meeting, the students received answers to their questions and learned about promising areas of the food and processing industries. Such career guidance activities help young people make informed decisions about their future professions, explore higher education opportunities, and define their professional pathways.
As part of the visit, the parties also discussed opportunities for internships, the continuation of career guidance activities, and the implementation of joint projects in the future.
