KazNARU HOSTS THE III MEETING OF THE EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION – PROJECT MANAGEMENT GROUP OF THE REPUBLICAN EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL COUNCIL IN “AGRICULTURE AND BIORESOURCES” AND “VETERINARY MEDICINE”
On June 24, 2026, KazNARU hosted the regular meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association – Project Management Group of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council in the areas of personnel training “Agriculture and Bioresources” and “Veterinary Medicine.” The meeting was held in both offline and online formats.
The meeting was chaired by Gulmira Alpysbayeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KazNARU, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences.
The key item on the agenda was the discussion of issues related to the formation of an inclusive environment in higher and postgraduate education.
The keynote report was delivered by Gulmira Alpysbayeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KazNARU, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences. In her speech, she emphasized that the development of inclusive education is not only a reflection of the humanistic principles of modern society, but also an important condition for ensuring every citizen’s constitutional right to quality education.
Special attention was paid to the relevance of creating an inclusive educational environment in agricultural and veterinary training areas. The report highlighted that the agro-industrial complex is a strategically important sector of the national economy, while ensuring equal access to higher education for people with special educational needs contributes to their successful social integration and the sustainable development of rural areas.
The meeting also addressed the specific features of implementing inclusive policy in agricultural and veterinary education. In particular, the participants discussed the adaptation of the educational process, taking into account the practice-oriented nature of training, the organization of field and industrial internships, work with living biological objects, and the individual needs of students.
In conclusion, the Vice-Rector noted that the creation of an inclusive educational environment is one of the key conditions for improving the quality of higher education, ensuring equal opportunities for all students, and training competitive specialists capable of contributing to the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In accordance with the agenda, the following issues were also considered and important decisions were adopted:
• consideration of the profile disciplines of the comprehensive testing for the group of educational programs M136 “Agricultural Engineering and Technology” and the need to introduce adjustments to the disciplines;
• discussion and approval of the Regulation on the procedure for granting the endorsement of the Educational and Methodological Association of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council under KazNARU in the areas of personnel training “Agriculture and Bioresources” and “Veterinary Medicine” to educational publications;
• review, discussion, and recommendation for publication of educational materials submitted for the issuance of textbooks and teaching aids with the endorsement of the Educational and Methodological Association of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council.
Following the meeting, the participants adopted relevant decisions and developed recommendations aimed at improving the quality of personnel training and strengthening educational and methodological support in the areas of “Agriculture and Bioresources” and “Veterinary Medicine.”
