Meeting of Student Eco-Activists Held on March 12 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering

On March 12, an organizational meeting of student eco-activists was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. The event brought together active students of the faculty interested in developing environmental culture and participating in ecological projects of the university.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the directions of the student environmental movement and to plan activities for the current year. During the meeting, participants reviewed the work plan of eco-activists, which includes educational, practical, and research initiatives.
Special attention was paid to raising environmental awareness among students, involving young people in volunteer activities, and implementing projects aimed at improving the environmental situation on the university campus.
Among the planned activities are lectures and seminars on environmental topics, clean-up events, campaigns for collecting paper, plastic, and used batteries, tree planting and campus greening, as well as student participation in scientific environmental research and conferences.
The meeting also discussed the media and information activities of the eco-club, including maintaining social media pages, publishing environmental tips, and sharing news about ongoing initiatives.
Following the meeting, it was decided to further develop the student environmental movement, expand the number of participants, and implement the planned initiatives throughout 2026. The activities are expected to increase students’ environmental awareness and contribute to improving the ecological condition of the university territory.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering continues to support student initiatives aimed at building an environmentally responsible and sustainable future.
