LITERARY AND SPIRITUAL EVENING “MUKAGALI — ETERNAL HERITAGE”
On February 13, 2026, the Department of IT Technologies of the Faculty of Water Resources and IT Technologies held a warm and inspiring event — the literary and spiritual evening “Mukagali — Eternal Life”, dedicated to the birthday of the great Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev.
The day was filled with poetry, music, and profound meaning. The hall resonated with Makatayev’s poems and songs, revealing his sincere love for life, his homeland, and humanity. Through the poet’s words, participants were able to feel the strength of emotions, as well as the simplicity and depth of his творчество.
First-, second-, and third-year students of IT educational programs took an active part in organizing and conducting the event. They showed deep interest in the poet’s literary heritage, enthusiastically participating in the preparation and creating an atmosphere of sincerity and respect for national culture.
The event featured digital presentations, multimedia materials, and visual slides reflecting the poet’s life and creative journey.
The literary evening was organized by students of academic groups IS-25-01K, IS-24-08K, IS-24-08R, IS-25-08R, IS-24-09K, AU-23-09K with the active support of curator Gulnara Orazbekovna Seidalieva, as well as the entire teaching staff involved in the educational and mentoring work with students and master’s degree candidates.
Mukagali Makatayev is not just a poet.
