A Ceremonial Event Dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Akhmetov Kulmagambet Akhmetovich

A ceremonial event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Akhmetov Kulmagambet Akhmetovich, an outstanding scholar, respected educator, and mentor who has made a significant contribution to the development of science and education, was held.

Congratulatory remarks on behalf of the university administration were delivered by Gulmira Yerkynovna Alpysbayeva, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Arystanov Meiram Buranovich, Dean of the Faculty of Water Resources and IT Technologies, as well as colleagues and fellow scholars — G. R. Madiev, B. Zh. Kirgizbayeva, G. O. Seidaliyeva, A. Bekbosynova, Zh. N. Alisheva, Head of the Department, representatives of the IT Technologies Department, and students.

In their speeches, the participants emphasized Akhmetov K.A.’s high level of professionalism, outstanding pedagogical skills, profound scientific expertise, and remarkable personal qualities. Warm wishes were expressed to the юбиляр for good health, longevity, family well-being, and continued success in his academic and teaching career.

Akhmetov Kulmagambet Akhmetovich is a highly qualified specialist in the field of modeling agricultural systems using information technologies. He is the author of the first textbook in the Kazakh language, “Computer Engineering and Programming” (Almaty, Kainar Publishing House), which has been widely distributed not only in Kazakhstan but also in Kazakh-language educational institutions abroad.

The scholar is the author of nine textbooks devoted to modeling agricultural systems in the fields of informatics, econometrics, and information technologies, as well as seven textbooks co-authored with other researchers (six of which were published with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan). In addition, he is the author of 23 teaching manuals, five scientific monographs, more than 300 scientific articles and educational-methodological works, and a number of software packages widely used in higher education institutions and research centers, including BIOMET, STATIST, ARM–PROGNOZIST, PROIZFUNC, TEST, and others.

The scientific legacy and pedagogical activity of Akhmetov Kulmagambet Akhmetovich continue to make a substantial contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and to the development of national science, particularly in the field of digitalization of the agricultural sector.
