Winners of the Chess Spartakiad among Faculty and Teaching Staff Announced at KazNARU

As part of the Densaylyq–2026 Spartakiad, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University hosted a chess tournament among its faculty and teaching staff. The event brought together colleagues who contribute daily to the intellectual development of the university and who, on this occasion, demonstrated strategic thinking, composure, and a strong sense of fair play.

The tournament was held in a professional yet friendly atmosphere. Each match required a high level of concentration, precise decision-making, and the ability to anticipate future moves. Beyond intellectual competition, the tournament also provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and collaboration among representatives of different faculties.

According to the results of the chess tournament, the winners among the faculty and teaching staff were determined as follows:

1st place – Faculty of Engineering Technologies – 1 team;
2nd place – Faculty of Forestry and Land Resources team;
3rd place – Faculty of Water Resources and IT Technologies team;
4th place – Faculty of Agrobiology team;
5th place – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering team;
6th place – Military Department team;
7th place – Faculty of Engineering Technologies – 2 team.

The chess tournament clearly demonstrated that the Densaylyq–2026 Spartakiad is not only a sporting event, but also an important platform for intellectual development, strengthening team spirit, and fostering a strong corporate culture among the university’s faculty and teaching staff.
