First-Year Students and Master’s Students of the Almaty Branch of the National Research University “TIIAME” Participated in an International Educational and Informational Study Trip to Tashkent
First-year students and master’s students of the Almaty Branch of the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME)”, located on the basis of Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), took part in an international educational and informational study trip to the city of Tashkent.
From December 23 to 28, 2025, first-year students and master’s students of the Almaty Branch of the National Research University “TIIAME” carried out an official educational and informational visit to Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The trip was organized within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed on June 6, 2024, between the Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company “Kazakh National Agrarian Research University” (KazNARU) and the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME)”.
The main objective of the visit was the registration of first-year students of the educational program 6B08604 “Water Resources and Land Reclamation” and first-year master’s students of the educational program 7M08610 “Integrated Use and Management of Water Resources” in the higher education management information system “HEMIS”, as well as comprehensive familiarization with its functional capabilities and operational procedures.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Rector of the National Research University “TIIAME”, Bakhodir Suyunovich Mirzaev. During the meeting, participants received detailed information about the university’s development priorities, the quality of the educational process, international cooperation, and the opportunities provided for students and master’s students. In addition, the guests were introduced to the university’s history, organizational structure, and material and technical infrastructure.
During the program, students and master’s students visited modern educational and research laboratories, where they became acquainted with advanced equipment and the organization of practical training sessions. This experience contributed to increased professional interest and had a positive impact on their development as future specialists.
Throughout the visit, the staff of NRU “TIIAME” demonstrated a high level of hospitality. Participants were provided with accommodation in a student dormitory and three full meals per day. All organizational and living conditions were arranged with due consideration for the safety and comfort of the students and master’s students.
Overall, the trip was informative, meaningful, and beneficial. The students and master’s students highly appreciated the experience and expressed their gratitude to the organizers. The visit made a significant contribution to the development of international academic exchange, expansion of educational horizons, and strengthening of inter-university cooperation.
