OPENING CEREMONY OF THE LEGAL CLINIC AND CRIMINALISTICS TRAINING LAB AT KazNARU

On December 10, 2025, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) hosted an important event organized by the School of Business and Law. The event, titled “Promoting the Ideology of Law and Order in Society,” was dedicated to implementing the tasks outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address to the Nation: “A Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism.”

The main goal of the event was to strengthen the principles of law and order in society, enhance legal culture, and discuss initiatives aimed at building a fair society grounded in knowledge, responsibility, and integrity.

The event brought together leading experts in the field of law, representatives of government agencies, heads of legal clinics from various universities, as well as KazNARU students. Participants explored legal education and practical training opportunities in greater depth.

During the meeting, key aspects of current legal policy were thoroughly discussed, and new proposals aimed at improving youth legal literacy were presented. An open dialogue platform was created to strengthen cooperation between law enforcement agencies and higher education institutions. Students had the opportunity to speak directly with experts and receive answers to their questions.

The highlight of the event was the official opening ceremony of the Legal Clinic and the Criminalistics Training Lab, titled “Legal Clinic and Criminalistics Polygon: A New Platform for Advancing Legal Order and Education.” The ceremonial ribbon was cut by Kuat Eleusizuly Sultangaziyev, Member of the Board and Deputy Chair of the Board – Vice-Rector of KazNARU, together with Damir Medelbayuly Katayev, Deputy Prosecutor of Almaty.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Serik Isataevich Shumaev, Head of the Almaty Administrative Police Department, and to the Almaty Department of Justice for their support of the students.

The new facility will serve as a modern educational space where students can acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical legal skills, understand real-life legal procedures, and gain a deeper understanding of law and order.

This event represents an important step toward strengthening cooperation between the university and law enforcement agencies, as well as advancing legal culture among youth.
