Workshop on writing articles for highly rated journals indexed by Scopus database

May 5, 2025 Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), Institute of Green and Sustainable Development held a workshop for students, young scientists, doctoral students and teachers devoted to the topic of writing articles in highly rated journals indexed by the database Scopus. In total there were from the students and staff of KazNARU in the online format -28 people and 3 people offline.

This workshop was conducted by a professor from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland - Professor, PhD Aijaz Shaikh.

This workshop helped the workshop participants to form their idea of writing articles, analyze and use different methods and databases.

The participants actively participated, asked questions regarding publications and which applications to use when writing articles. Professor Aijaz also shared new methods of writing using artificial intelligence, he emphasized that AI should be used only in extreme cases, and when writing articles and scientific papers it is better to rely only on your own strength.

The results of papers, monographs, also the process of submitting the final version of the paper to the reviewers was highlighted.
