Обработка почвы при ресурсосберегающем земледелии

Cropland is a key agronomic discipline that provides future specialists with knowledge and skills for improving soil fertility and general crop cultivation issues. Cropland shapes agronomic thinking and the ability of specialists to creatively apply their knowledge in practice to solve production problems.

Modern cropland methods are aimed at improving soil fertility and increasing crop yields through the precise, economically and environmentally sound use of land. This is necessary for the sustainable development of agriculture in conditions of limited resources and a changing climate.

The aim of the discipline ‘Agriculture’ is:

- to form the theoretical and practical foundations for increasing soil fertility, developing crop rotations, soil cultivation, protecting soil from erosion and deflation, and managing phytosanitary potential in order to obtain stable, sustainable yields of a specified quality.

The objectives of the course are:

- to study the factors affecting plant life and methods of optimising them;

- to master the laws of agriculture and their application in agricultural production;

- to study the water, air, heat, light and nutrient regimes of the soil;

- study the agrophysical, biological and agrochemical indicators of soil and their reproduction;

- study the classification of weeds and measures to combat them;

- master the methodology for developing crop rotation schemes and assessing their productivity;

- study methods, techniques and systems of soil cultivation;

- master methods of protecting soil from erosion and deflation;

- familiarise oneself with the scientific basis of cropland systems.
