ҚазNARU KAZNARU STUDENTS STARTED CLASSES AT TIIAME IN UZBEKISTAN
Head of the Department of Water Resources and Reclamation of KazNARU, professor Yermekkul Zhaparkulova, contacted from Tashkent and said that our students started studying from today.
Last Saturday, 15 first-year students of the Faculty of "Water, Land and Forest Resources" of our university arrived in the capital of Uzbekistan according to an agreement between two universities.
"The leadership of the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University received us very warmly and placed in a comfortable and bright dormitory. Today, our students started their first lectures at the "Hydrotechnical Construction" faculty under the "Water Resources and Water Use" educational program. "TIIAME management asked to express their gratitude to the Chairman of the Board-Rector of KazNARU, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhylbek Kurishbayev, who is providing great support to improving the education of Kazakhstani students," - says Yermekkul Zhaparkulova.
On April 25, 2023, KazNARU and TIIAME discussed and formalized the "Road Map" on joint training of competitive water management specialists, joint development of innovative scientific technologies.
This project aimed at expanding bilateral international cooperation in the field of higher education and science is a prerequisite for such important steps as increasing the academic mobility of students and teaching staff, implementing double diploma programs, and creating a branch of the "TIIAME" on the basis of KazNARU.
