In July 2010 Kazakhstan-Japan Innovation Center was found in order to provide a scientific and educational base, to improve efficiency of scientific research, to promote the university-industries-alliance for innovative research in the field of biotechnology, nanotechnology and new materials, new agricultural technologies, molecular genetic and other key strategic scientific and to accumulate technological knowledges. The center is established to celebrate the partnership with Japanese corporations «JEOL», «Shimadzu» and Kazakh National Agrarian Research University and mainly conducts the joint researches in international programs.

Kazakhstan-Japan Innovation Center (KJIC) is part of the University assisting scientists by providing critical technologies and knowledge, to improve research, and to accelerate innovative research projects in companies and organizations, as well as to contribute to educations by practical training of graduate students, doctoral candidates and students of the University. The center was opened in September 2010 during a visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev due to 80^th anniversary of the Kazakh National Agrarian University. The center has equipped with modern equipment in the field of microbiological, biochemical and genetic studies.

Laboratory of Engineering Profile "Electron Microscopy"
The laboratory of the engineering profile (LIP) "Electron Microscopy" was created by the decision of the Rectorate from February 23, 2009 in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 58-pr. from 03.04.2008
In 2015, the engineering laboratory "Electron Microscopy" was accredited in the accreditation system of the Republic of Kazakhstan for compliance with the requirements of ST RK ISO / IEC 17025-2007 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".
 
Laboratory of Food and Ecological Safety
The laboratory of food and ecological safety carries out research of biological and inorganic, food and ecological objects. The capabilities of spectrometric and chromatographic laboratory instruments allow for chemical analysis and determination of quality and safety indicators of agricultural raw materials and food products in accordance with national and international standards.
 
Laboratory of Green Biotechnology and Cell Engineering
The Laboratory of Green Biotechnology and Cell Engineering carries out research in the field of veterinary diagnostics of animal infectious diseases and biosafety, hematological, biochemical and immunoenzymatic studies of blood serum of animals, improvement of existing means and methods of laboratory diagnostics, including molecular genetic methods of research (PCR) various scientific tasks - diagnostics of diseases of a viral and bacterial nature, diagnostics of latent forms especially diseases, diseases caused by genetic changes, detection of mutations, gene expression, single nucleotide polymorphisms, gene copy, absolute quantitative determination of NK, quantitative assessment of pathogens and GMOs.

Laboratory of microbiological safety
For the functioning of the laboratory in full, there are collectible strains of microorganisms Bacillus Cereus B-0364, Bacillus mycoides B-0365, Bacillus Subtilis B-0366, Micrococcus flavus B-0367, Micrococcus luteus 9341 B-0368 deposited by the National Center for Monitoring, Reference, Laboratory diagnostics and methodology in veterinary medicine" KGI in the agro-industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the laboratory " National collection of deposited strains of microorganisms" to determine the residual amounts of antibiotics in various substrates, as well as a number of strains of microorganisms for identification of pathogens.
