Establishment of the Center, its purpose, objectives, main activities, staff

Kazakh National Agrarian University takes an active part in realization of ideas and provisions of program article of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev "Look into future: modernization of public consciousness". In order to increase the effectiveness of the activities, in August 2017, the University opened the Center for Humanities Research "Spiritual modernization", which is a structural subdivision of the "Scientific and Educational Department named after N.A. Nazarbayev". It is a structural subdivision of the "Nazarbayev Scientific and Educational Department". The main direction of the Center's activities is determined by the policy of the University leadership, is being built in the context of close cooperation with the Institute, the Department of "History of Kazakhstan and culture of the people", as well as the primary organization of the party "Nur Otan".

The main objectives of the Center are scientific support of the implementation of the model of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev on creation of a modern state, study and propaganda of the provisions, conclusions and assessments of his program article "Look into the future: modernization of public consciousness". At the same time, the Center develops and implements scientific programs and projects corresponding to its direction; cooperates with republican and foreign organizations in accordance with the scientific directions of the University and the Center; organizes activities that contribute to strengthening the creative potential of the staff; improves scientific and technical skills of the Center's staff.

The main directions of the Center's work are:

Carrying out activities under the Spiritual modernization program;
Promotion of the ideas of " Spiritual modernization" among students of KazNAU, educational institutions of Almaty and regions;
Promotion of the ideas of " Spiritual modernization" in the media;
Scientific reports and publications under the program " Spiritual modernization";
Exchange of experience with representatives of third-party organizations;
Participation of employees of the Center in meetings, meetings and sessions held within the framework of the program “Spiritual modernization”, as representatives of KazNAU, experts.

The staff of the Center consists of 3 employees, including a manager. H.M. Abzhanov, doctor of historical sciences, academician of NAS RK, heads the Center.
