Active participation in the implementation of research problems of industrial-innovative development of agriculture, arising from the Strategy "Kazakhstan-2050". Active participation in the introduction of the obtained results, as well as their wide use in the training of highly qualified personnel able to develop effective forms of entrepreneurship in agribusiness and control mechanisms.

- Research organization of scientists of the departments, which performed under the government contracts and requests of economic entities;
- Involvement of young scientists, masters and PhD students in the implementation of research, their active participation in national and international scientific events;
- Participation of domestic and foreign partner institute scientists in the development and implementation of programs, including international, on fundamental and applied research directions;
- Collaboration with domestic and foreign scientists in publishing activities (publishing of textbooks, manuals, handbooks, publication of articles, theses and monographs);
- Promoting the participation of scientists from partner institutes in international congresses, symposiums, conferences and seminars;
- Organization of exchange of scientists and professors for mutual acquaintance with scientific advances, studying the best practices, and conduction of scientific advices.
- Scientific support of the priority directions of fundamental and applied research, organizing and participating in contests held by republican agencies and international organizations;
- Quality expertise of research projects, as well as articles submitted for publication in national and international journals;
- Organizing the participation of young scientists in the competitions for awards in science and government scholarships.

History

Scientific-research institute «Agroinnovation and ecology» as structural division of the Kazakh National agrarian university is created on the basis of the order Ministry of Education and Science Republic of Kazakhstan № 10578 of November 8, 2000 and the order on Kazgovagruniv № OO 222 of November 14, 2000.

Mission

The purpose and tasks of institute are – performance of applied and basic researches, in the field protection of plants, agriculture (farming), agrochemistry and soil science, environmental protection, fruit-and-vegetable growing, plant growing and selection;
- participation in performance interregional and international scientific projects on priority problems of agro-industrial complex;
- examination quality of scientific projects, and also articles presented for the edition to republican and international magazines;
- the consideration and the statement of annual subjects dissertation works of doctors РhD taking into account specialty profiles and also recommended for public protection;
- organization scientific conferences, release of recommendations about results of complete scientific projects and carrying out days of a field;
- the recommendation of young scientists for participation in competitions on nominal grants.

Regulation of water relations in the area of irrigated agriculture and pasturelands flooding stimulates rational use of water resources and effective functioning of water facilities.

	Akhmetov Kulmaganbet Akhmetovich	Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor	Economic and mathematical methods and information technologies in the agrarian system of the Republic of Kazakhstan	"Production functions (PF) in the planning and forecasting of agricultural production of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was carried out under the budget program and the sub-program "Grant financing of research" for 2012, 2013 and 2014 under the guidance of Professor Akhmetov K.A..	Many kinds of PF in Excel environment are developed. For the first time with elements of astrological modeling qualitative forecast calculations were made in the section of Almaty region (more than 40) and RK (15) indicators of agriculture production. Scientific and practical recommendations (in the form of a monograph) on the construction of production functions and effective forecasting of agricultural production indicators have been issued. The developed new models of economic laws of agricultural production development can be used to improve the system of agro-industrial complex management. The developed methodology and working program in MS Excel environment, as well as methodological developments will give an opportunity to choose the optimal type of PF for the object under study, contributing to the efficiency of business activities.
	-//-	-//-	-//-	"Adoption of management decisions based on margin analysis in the IT-technology environment".	A software product will be offered to automate all calculations for margin analysis. The received data of the margin analysis will allow to calculate the margin income, operating profit, break-even point, financial strength reserve, production leverage (leverage). With the help of the margin analysis it is possible to justify other management decisions: choice of variants of production capacity change, product range, price for a new product, equipment variants, production technology, consumption of component parts, evaluation of efficiency of acceptance of additional order, and so on.
	-//-	-//-	-//-	Information and innovative technologies and mathematical methods as a factor in ensuring food independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan	- The received scientific results will allow to study more deeply problems of improvement of system of maintenance of food independence of the country at the present stage of development of economy of the republic; - the study will reveal and complement the existing system of criteria and indicators of food independence of Kazakhstan, approaches to assessing food independence, as well as take into account regional specifics in creating an effective system to ensure food independence of Kazakhstan; - the main methodological and practical measures can be used by management bodies of all levels in planning and forecasting of food supply of the country and regions, development of normative acts of food policy in the work of individual agricultural organizations; - proposed methods of multifactor analysis, modeling and forecasting of food independence in the country and regions will improve the feasibility of management decisions on state regulation of the food market.
