Academic mobility – is the movement of students and research teaching fellows for a study and research works to the other universities (at home or abroad) for a certain academic period: semester or academic year. It is mandatory to re-offset the mastered study programs as a credits at the own university or to continue to study at another university. Also, it is a complex and multifaceted process of intellectual advancement, exchange of scientific and cultural potential, resources and learning technologies.

Applicant requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree students studying on 2-3 courses, 4th course students with 5 academic years study, postgraduate students on 1st course

2. Citizens of Republic of Kazakhstan

3. High academic performance (average score above 3.5)

4. Fluency in a foreign language, confirmed by a certificate

5. Passing the competitive selection at the faculty

List of required documents

1. Statement addressed to the rector

2. A copy of the official invitation from a foreign university

3. The application of the student in the established order form of №152 MES RK of April 20, 2011;

4. A tripartite agreement on the established form of the order No. 152 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 20, 2011 (IELTS, TOEFL);

5. Kazakhstan citizen study abroad form, according to the annex to these Rules;

6. Protocol extract from faculty session

7. Transcript

8. Recommendation letter

9. Copies of certificates, diplomas, appreciation letters, if available

10. IELTS, TOEFL certificates

11. Individual curriculum (for postgraduate students)

12. Medical certificate (form N082)

13. Preliminary consultation with the adviser

14. Essay (write the purpose of your trip, justify your choice of university abroad) – approximately 500 words in English
